Welcome to Open Door Learning
Giving All Students Access to Exceptional Tutoring

Open Door Learning is a nonprofit organization offering math tutoring for elementary and middle school students for half (or less) than what typical tutoring costs.  Hourly rates are $20 or less dependent on your need.  There are no income requirements to receive services.

$40 or 50/hour for tutoring is out of the question for many families.  I wanted to deliver quality instruction to any student who needs it, not just those who can afford it.       (Karen DeSilva, Founder/Director)

We believe in

Giving all students access to exceptional tutoring

At a price families can afford.

In person tutoring is available in Quincy, MA at the Thomas Crane Library. Meeting twice/ week, your child and tutor will conquer homework and more!

Our online tutoring takes place using Adobe Connect.  Your child and tutor will utilize video or voice chat, be able to share school assignments and notes, and collaborate on a shared white board.

There is nothing to download or install and it can be accessed from the web on just about any device.  Best of all... no commute!

Good grades in math are possible. But no one achieves anything alone.

You’re so close! Fill this out to try a session or get more information.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AND PRICE YOU CAN ACTUALLY AFFORD

$20/hr or less with no contracts or long-term commitment required.

TUTORS WHO ARE COMMITTED

Your child matters.  It’s not just about getting right answers.  Working with a tutor who cares, inspires and motivates students to take the steps to reach their goals in class and in life.
